Kramatorsk, the largest city on the Donbas frontline in free Ukraine, is dominated by a gigantic flee market that is open from 8am to 2pm each day and sells every conceivable items and quite a lot of inconceivable ones. It is a civilian market, open to everyone, where seemingly anybody can buy and sell whatever they have to hand.

Despite constant sound of shelling and air raid sirens in the background, the market carries on business quite by usual with people going about their daily shopping. It serves as the de facto centre of the city and is quite a lively, colourful affair, just a few kilometres from the fighting.

In the videos below, we explore walking through the snow to the market, and then walking round the market and seeing what handy wears and other items are for sale.
